Wayland Coker

I’m a devoted husband, proud father, grandfather, and man of faith. I hold an MBA from The George Washington University (1995) with an emphasis in Logistics, Operations, and Material Management, a BS in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science from Western New Mexico University (1984). I am also a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). I retired a U.S. Naval Officer in 1999, having served onboard a nuclear attack submarine during the Cold War, aboard a surface ship during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, as well as completing a tour in the Pentagon on the Navy staff.

After retiring from the Navy I founded the management consulting firm, Coker Logistics Solutions, achieving Inc. 5000 status in 2007 and was recognized as the 2012 Northrup Grumman Supplier of the Year from a field of over 10,000 suppliers. In 2004 I founded Coker Logistics Solutions, UK Ltd, a logistics planning and analysis firm, based in Bath, England.

I am a public speaker, having lectured and presented at various academic venues, conferences and trade shows in Canberra, Sydney, Singapore, Madrid, Berlin, Jerusalem, London, and many U.S. cities including Washington, DC.
